The mission of BSL Speech & Language is to promote knowledge about developmental milestones, pediatric communication disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, learning disorders, and to share resources for speech-language pathologists, educators, and parents. BSL Speech & Language Services provides solutions for speech-language pathologists who need informal assessment and therapy resources to use with their clients in the school setting or private practice.
I specially create products that will help SLPs collect ongoing evaluation information that will help focus future speech-language therapy instruction to increase their students’ speech-language skills. BSL Speech & Language also provides solutions for educators who need instructional materials to work with students with language based learning disabilities. I create products that align with the common core state standards in the areas of vocabulary, language comprehension and oral expression.

My name is Tamara Anderson and I am a nationally certified speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from The American Speech Language Hearing Association. I am licensed in the state of Georgia. I am also an education specialist in the area of curriculum and instruction. One of my other passions is literacy and I have additional training and certification in the area of reading assessment and instruction.
I love my profession as a speech-language pathologist because I have the opportunity to teach others to communicate and language skills related to the school curriculum. I have a passion for working with children with special needs and improving their communication, literacy, and academic skills. I believe that effective communication skills are a foundation for social, academic, and life success.
I currently work as a school based speech-language pathologist providing evaluation and therapy services for children with communication disorders, intellectual disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g. autism), and learning disabilities. I have prior experience providing early intervention and school aged services for children in an outpatient rehabilitation hospital program and private practice. In addition to that, I provided speech-language services for adults in the acute care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative settings.
I enjoy writing about topics to educate parents and caregivers as well as share effective assessment and therapy/educational activities with SLPS and teachers!! I love creating products for professionals to use in speech language therapy sessions and classrooms that are available in my Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) online store.
